During Friday’s trading session, the shares of a construction & infrastructure enterprise and the second-largest listed construction company by revenue surged by around 2.6 percent to hit an intraday high at Rs. 197.7 on BSE.
Stock Performance
With a market capitalisation of Rs. 11,734.5 crores, the shares of NCC Limited closed at Rs. 186.9, down by nearly 3 percent, against its previous closing price of Rs. 192.75.
The stock hit its 52-week high at Rs. 364.5 on 31st July 2024, and compared to Friday’s closing price of Rs. 186.9, the stock is trading at a discount of nearly 49 percent.
The stock has delivered negative returns of nearly 17 percent in the last six months, as well as around 23 percent returns in the last one month.
The shares of the company were listed on the stock exchanges in India in 1992 pursuant to the Initial Public Offer of equity shares.
Order Book
As of Q3 FY25, NCC’s consolidated order book stood at Rs. 55,548 crores, with an order inflow of Rs. 8,440 crores. The company’s order execution during Q3 FY25 amounted to Rs. 5,262 crores.
The Buildings segment made the largest contribution, accounting for 38 percent of the order book, followed by the Transportation and Electrical (T&D) segments, each contributing 19 percent. The Water & Railways segment contributed 10 percent, the Irrigation segment contributed 9 percent, and the Mining segment contributed 5 percent.

Financials
NCC reported a marginal growth in revenue from operations, experiencing a year-on-year rise of nearly 1.6 percent, from Rs. 5,260 crores in Q3 FY24 to Rs. 5,345 crores in Q3 FY25.


However, its net profit decreased during the same period from Rs. 231 crores to Rs. 206 crores, representing a decline of nearly 11 percent YoY.
