Share Market, Union Budget 2025 Live Updates: The stock market opened in Green on Saturday ahead of the Union Budget 2025. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will present the Budget at 11 am today in Lok Sabha.

The investors are anticipating key policy announcements that could impact various sectors.

Markets usually remain closed on weekends, however, due to the Budget on Saturday, it is open today.

The traders are closely watching measures on fiscal consolidation, capital expenditure, and tax reforms, which could drive sentiment. Sectors like infrastructure, banking, and consumption may see heightened volatility as traders react to budgetary allocations and policy changes.

Indian benchmark indices ended higher for the fourth consecutive session on January 31 with Nifty above 23,500 amid buying across the sectors ahead of Union Budget 2025. At close, the Sensex was up 740.76 points or 0.97 percent at 77,500.57, and the Nifty was up 258.90 points or 1.11 percent at 23,508.40.

Stock markets are typically closed on Saturdays. However, since February 1 falls on a Saturday this year, a special trading session has been scheduled to coincide with the Budget announcement for 2025.
