Sabrina Carpenter fans show concern over paparazzi chase

Sabrina Carpenter does seem to have worrying fans.

The popstar’s night out in Paris took an unexpected turn when she found herself at the center of an aggressive paparazzi scene.

The Espresso singer, 25, was leaving a restaurant when photographers swarmed her, calling out in an attempt to get her to stop for pictures.

As seen in a video obtained by The Daily Mail, she made her way to a waiting SUV, while someone from her group held up a sequined purple fabric to shield her from the cameras—an effort that didn’t sit well with the persistent shutterbugs.

The Parisian photographers weren’t shy about voicing their frustration, yelling, “Sabrina, give us one shot!” and, “Just one shot, Sabrina, we know you’re nice.” But when the singer chose to ignore them and got into the car, the tone quickly shifted.

“Shame on you, Sabrina!” they shouted repeatedly, followed by a chorus of “Ridiculous, ridiculous!” and an ominous warning, “The fans will see this, Sabrina.”

Well, the fans did see it—and they had zero sympathy for the paparazzi.

“‘The fans will see this’ yeah they’re gonna see you making her uncomfortable and stalking her,” one fan fired back online.

“‘Shame on you’ ??? She literally doesn’t owe you anything????” another wrote, echoing the general frustration.

Others jumped to her defense with humour and sarcasm.

“What did y’all want her to do, pose in the middle of the street? Let me know so I can riot accordingly,” one person joked.

The situation also sparked discussions about how celebrities are treated by photographers. Fans even referenced singer Chappell Roan, who famously called out a paparazzo on the VMAs red carpet last year and later spoke about the anxiety-inducing experience.

“More celebs need to speak up,” one commenter insisted, supporting a shift in how public figures are treated in these moments.

Despite the drama, Carpenter kept her cool, proving once again that she’s unshakable—even in the face of relentless cameras.
