A total of 47% physical progress has been achieved on the Mumbai-Ahmedabad High-Speed Rail Project, India’s first bullet train, Economic Survey 2024-25 released on Friday said.

There has been a close to 11% drop in railways network commission. In FY 24, 2,282 km of railway network was commissioned during April to November as against 2,031 km in the current fiscal year, FY 25, for the same period.
