Popular streaming platform Disney+ has given an update on the second season for the hit series A Shop For Killers.
Reports were released on December 31 from STARNEWS that claimed that the second season for the show has been confirmed and shooting will commence in April 2025.
Disney+ soon responded to the report on December 3 with a representative commenting, “Discussions are ongoing in a positive direction, but nothing has been finalized yet.”
The series is based on a novel by the name The Killer’s Shopping List from author Kang Ji Young and it stars veteran actor Lee Dong Wook as well as Kim Hye Joon.
It follows the character Jung Ji An, who goes on to live with her uncle after her parents pass away.
After her uncle unexpectedly passes, Jung Ji An is taken aback to find she has received a strange inheritance and is subsequently being targeted by several dangerous killers.
A Shop For Killers originally premiered in January of 2021 on Disney+. Possibilities of a second season were discussed in March during the 2024 Disney+ Content Lineup Media Day, “As expected, many people want Season 2 following the conclusion, so we are currently in close discussion at the moment.”
Fans continue to eagerly await the confirmation of the following season.
