Stevie Nicks praised The Weeknd’s talent, however, she does have some criticism too!

Back in her prime time of Fleetwood Mac, she her band were quite down-to-earth given the fact how they infamously thanked their cocaine dealer too in the liber notes of the record, Rumours.

Nick, only dropped her drug addiction when her doctor advised her to stop as she was not far from suffering a brain haemorrhage due to substance abuse.

While praising the Blinding Lights hitmaker, she was right in her own accord to question his overuse of curse words and swearing too much in his songs.

As per the book, The 10 Commandments: The Rock Star’s Guide To Life, the Landslide singer revealed that she was a fan of the R&B musician but pointed out where she saw an issue.

“I play The Weeknd’s records one after the other when I’m in my bathroom getting ready to go out, or just hanging out with myself,” Nicks explained.

She continued, “He’s brilliant. And his voice, he could’ve come straight out of 1975, he could’ve been like Stevie Winwood. He’s over-talented.”

“If I were to meet him,” Stevie Nicks mentioned, adding, “I would probably say: ‘You say over and over again words that I would prefer you didn’t say. I think they’re unnecessary. However, even though I think a lot of your songs are super-dirty, I still really like ‘em, so I’ve given you a pass on that!’.”
